Silver Creek Jazz Band started in 2007 by leader Dave Stoddard.  It has played a variety of events since then in formats ranging from three to seven players.

The June 7^th concert will mark the 15th time that Silver Creek has played for the Society.  It represented ATJS at International Jazz Day concerts at Long Center, the Louis Armstrong Festival in Round Rock and jazz festivals in Cedar Park.  For a preview, see the Silver Creek website at www.silvercreekjazz.com.

The concert is free to ATJS members. Guests can enter for $12 and college students with ID and members of the Austin Jazz Society are $5.

Ben Hur Shrine Temple, at 7811 Rockwood Lane, is off Anderson Lane near MoPac.    There is plenty of free parking available.  The hall contains a large dance floor.  Snacks, beer, wine and sodas are available. Patrons can bring their own food.  ATJS concerts are family friendly.
