Tuesday, Oct. 27
@ 7: 30 p.m.
The Austin Jazz Society, our fellow Austin jazz purveyor, will livestream a performance by the Texas Moaners on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:30 pm. The Texas Moaners have been a frequent performer at Quality Seafood, having taken over for Aunt Ruby’s Sweet Jazz Babies a couple of years ago. This talented ensemble features four performers, all of whom are familiar faces on the ATJS stage. David Jellema will play cornet, joined by Lauryn Gould on soprano saxophone, J.D. Pendley on guitar and Ryan Gould on string bass.

This is a no-fee benefit event – yet you can make a tax deductible donation and for $100 or more you will become a recognized event sponsor:
· Donate before, during or after event
· Become a recognized event sponsor ($100 or more)
We hope you will take the opportunity to support our local jazz musicians through these live streaming events (pretend you are paying a door fee and/or adding to the tip jar). All donations exceeding the Austin Jazz Society-guaranteed compensation for the musicians performing will go to our “Project Safety Net” fund, an emergency grant program for Austin’s most financially vulnerable jazz musicians who have lost significant income due to COVID – 19.
I hope you will tune in and enjoy the performance. This is a way to keep traditional jazz alive until we can resume live in-person concerts.
