David Jellema presents his jazz quartet August 4 at 7:30 pm

Dear Jazz Fans:

The Austin Jazz Society, fellow Austin Jazz purveyor, will livestream a performance by the David Jellema Quartet on Tuesday, August 4 at 7:30 pm.

David is a marvelous performer on cornet and clarinet, and has been a mainstay of the Austin traditional jazz scene for a number of years. He will be joined by Alice Spencer on vocals, John Sheridan on piano and Ryan Gould on string bass.

We hope you will take the opportunity to support our local jazz musicians through these live streaming events (pretend you are paying a door fee and/or adding to the tip jar). All donations exceeding the Austin Jazz Society - guaranteed compensation for the musicians performing will go to our "Project Safety Net" fund, an emergency fund for Austin's most financially vulnerable jazz musicians who have lost significant income due to Covid-19.

I hope you will tune in and enjoy the performance. This is a way to keep traditional jazz alive until we can resume live in-person concerts again.

Sincerely yours,

Dave Stoddard
