Early Days

From the very beginning, ATJS has presented the finest bands and musicians available. Here are some photographs from the early days.

In the beginning - a regular fan base developed around the Sunday night jazz at the Capital Oyster Company which featured the newly formed (Oct. 1973) John Roberts Dixieland Jazz Band.

The Austin Traditional Jazz Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization
