A.T.J.S. Presents:
Dirty River Dixie Band

Dirty River Dixie Band

Sunday, September 15, 2019
at Capital City

The Dirty River Dixie Band is one of the up-and-coming traditional jazz bands in the United States. It was formed in 2014 by music students at Texas Lutheran University, Since then the band has settled into the Greater San Antonio Area, where it plays many jazz events at a variety of venues. Dirty River has played some East Coast gigs this year and is beginning to attract national attention. It is regularly featured at Jazz, Texas, a prominent San Antonio jazz club. The Austin Traditional Jazz Society first hosted Dirty River in 2016, and is always glad to have the group back. They should provide a fine season-opening concert.
