at Capital City
Every year, ATJS President Dave Stoddard assembles an all-star band featuring a mix of out-of-town and local traditional jazz musicians. Players have come from as far away as New Orleans and Florida to play with the All-Stars, and the result has been a series of consistently fine jazz concerts. This year’s band features: Lyon Graulty - clarinet, David Jellema – cornet, Mike Pittsley – trombone, Jimmy Vence – banjo, Tommy Griffith – piano, Dave Stoddard – tuba, and Paul Schlichting – drums. It’s a great way to wind up the ATJS season.
